LogMeIn's IoT Platform, Xively, Takes Top Honors at 2015 MassTLC Technology Leadership Awards

Sep 22, 2015

Named Internet of Things Innovative Technology of the Year Winner

BOSTON, Sept. 22, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LogMeIn Inc.'s (NASDAQ:LOGM) Internet of Things (IoT) platform, Xively, was named the IoT Innovative Technology of the Year winner by the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) during the 2015 Technology Leadership Awards. Xively offers management capabilities that help companies securely capture, analyze and manage data, while providing the foundation for any company looking to build a connected product business.

The MassTLC selection of Xively comes fresh on the heels of the Salesforce Dreamforce conference in San Francisco where Xively was named as a Salesforce IoT Cloud Partner and showcased six customer implementations of connected IoT products using the Xively Platform. It also comes two weeks prior to its own inaugural IoT Forum, Xperience 2015, taking place October 1-2 in Boston that is dedicated to learning, discussion, and practical tactics around delivering connected products to the marketplace.

"We continue to see momentum among our customers and partners with our Xively platform and it is further proof that the IoT has been adopted as a more mainstream way for companies to truly build connected businesses," said W. Sean Ford, CMO of LogMeIn. "This prestigious award from MassTLC is a wonderful acknowledgement of the efforts by our talented team and a validation of Xively as a pioneer in connected product management."

Technology Leadership Award Winners were chosen from among the best of the region's tech industry in 16 categories and were announced at the 18th annual awards gala on Wednesday, September 16th at Boston's Seaport World Trade Center.
