LogMeIn Named Finalist for Company of the Year, Best Use of IoT Technology and Innovative Technology of the Year Awards by MassTLC

Jul 21, 2016

BOSTON, July 21, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LogMeIn, Inc. (NASDAQ:LOGM), has been named a finalist in three categories for the 19th Annual Technology Leadership Awards by the Mass Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) in recognition of the company’s continued success. The award program highlights the best companies, people, and products of Massachusetts’s internationally respected technology industry.

LogMeIn was named a finalist in the following categories:

"At LogMeIn, we strive to create simple on-demand applications that help people connect to each other and the world around them. Our success is driven by the many talented employees who design and build these applications, as well as those who provide our customers with ongoing care and support,” said W. Sean Ford, CMO of LogMeIn. “We are honored to be recognized by MassTLC not only as a great company, but also for our IoT platform, Xively, and our industry leading password manager, LastPass.”

LogMeIn was named a MassTLC 'Company of the Year' finalist among other leading Massachusetts businesses, including Acacia Communications, athenahealth, CyberArk and Wayfair. Xively by LogMeIn, which took home the MassTLC award for IoT in 2015, is an IoT platform and application solution for enterprises building connected products and services, enabling them to securely and robustly connect their products, manage data from those connections, and engage more closely with their customers. Finally, the LastPass Authenticator, a simple, secure two-factor authentication application for the LastPass password manager and other supported services, has been named a finalist in the consumer tech category.

Finalists were selected from hundreds of nominations, as judged by panels of industry leaders in each of the 16 categories. The winners will be announced on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the MassTLC Leadership Awards Gala at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston.
